The Sunshine Sisters are beautiful female Australian performers who have come together to entertain and enlighten audiences with fresh songs, sweet harmonies and infectious rhythms. They perform to celebrate the Australian roots culture and bring to light the creative singer songwriter art form.
The direct light of the Sunshine Sisters was first seen at Federation Square in Melbourne for Saltwater Rhythms, an Australian Indigenous music event celebrating performances from coastal and saltwater country. Giving birth to an effervescent and harmonious group that bring light and love through song.
Since then the tiddas have been performing as an iridescent power group, also teaming up with other artists such as Torres Strait Islander performer King Kadu.
When you see the sisters perform you can expect to hear four part vocal harmonies, strong rhythm guitars, ukulele, percussion and the sounds of summer on a warm sunshiny day; with their song writing style soulful, warm and energised.
Even when it is cloudy and cold outside, the Sunshine Sisters still manage to bring radiance and warmth to their adopted home in Melbourne. This entity of melodic energy creates a unique unity as the sisters consider themselves related through experience, culture and music.
